“Why millions of UK adults are going back to school”

“Millions of adults across the UK are heading back to school – and more often than not, it’s at their own expense. For some – it’s simply an opportunity to learn a new skill or hone a favourite hobby. For others it’s a more serious avenue back into the world of work.”

Last week Quodo was joined by the BBC to film on of our creative workshops. As part of a series of articles exploring why millions of UK adults are now learning new skills after work, we welcomed reporter Alice Baxter to a floristry workshop with the fantastic Augustus Bloom (Gus to his friends) as she learned how to make her own beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Quodo was featured on both the BBC World News and in a audio documentary for BBC Radio 4 (fulfilling a major #lifegoal in the process!) . If you didn’t manage to catch the articles when they aired, here they are in all their glory.

A huge thanks to Gus for revealing some of his tricks of the trade, and to all the students who joined us for the class!
